Jacqueline Smith - Elementary School Principal

Jacqueline Smith grew up in Hebron, Ohio, and attended Northland International University graduating in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, she moved to Guam where she lived and worked at Harvest Christian Academy for nine years. During her time in Guam, she taught fifth grade and third grade and earned a master’s degree in education. After five years in the classroom, she launched and ran the school’s Specialized Learning Center for two years. Upon returning to the States in 2022, Jacqueline enjoyed spending time with family and working in customer service and health advocate roles. She is excited to return to education and to have the opportunity to connect with the teachers, families, and students of Killian Hill. In her free time, Jacqueline loves cooking, board games, reading, traveling, and taking walks with her dog, Eboni Rose.

Angie Brinson

6th Grade Teacher

Angie Brinson - 6th Grade Teacher

Angie Brinson holds a bachelor of science degree in education and has thirty years of teaching experience. Mrs. Brinson grew up Indiana and moved to the Atlanta area in 2007. She and her husband, Rick, have been married for forty years and have three daughters and seven grandchildren who live in the area. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking outside, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Brinson desires to shine for Jesus at Killian Hill and everywhere she goes, and one of her favorite passages is Matthew 5:14-16.

Young Shin Suh

5th Grade Teacher

Young Shin Suh - 5th Grade Teacher

Young Shin Suh is joining the KHCS team as a fifth-grade teacher. Mrs. Suh was born and raised in South Korea and holds a bachelor of science degree which she received in New Jersey. She moved to Georgia in 2000 and met and married her husband, Young. They have twin boys, Urim and Thummim, who recently graduated high school. She homeschooled her sons for twelve years and has been teaching children in a classroom setting for over six years. She loves to share the love of God with children and see them grow their faith in Him. She also enjoys being in nature, gardening, and going to Lowes and Home Depot’s garden sections, and spending time with her family.


Katy Hansen

Katy Hansen - Elementary STEM & P.E. & Secondary Language Lab

Katy Hansen was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia for early childhood education and has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in human resource management from American Intercontinental University. She worked twenty-five years in the financial services industry. She is married to her husband, John, and has a son, Ben, who attends KHCS. She has two dogs and several chickens and enjoys being outside. Mrs. Hansen spends her free time doing youth group activities and events at church. She is excited to bring the many areas of STEM to life for her students and is very grateful to be a part of the KHCS team.

Bené Pritchard

Bené Pritchard - 1st Grade Teacher

Bené Pritchard is our kindergarten teacher’s aide who grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from Georgia State University. She has worked in Christian and public school classrooms for over 15 years combined. She and her husband Steve have two sons, Oran and Colton. She loves music, gardening, going to coffee houses, and spending time with her family.  

Brittney White

2nd Grade Teacher

Brittney White - 2nd Grade Teacher

Brittney White is a second-grade teacher who grew up in South Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. God has given her a heart for teaching students about Him as well as helping them to succeed academically. In her free time, Mrs. White enjoys playing volleyball and playing the piano.


Kristie Grable

3rd Grade Teacher

Kristie Grable - 3rd Grade Teacher

Kristie Grableteaches fifth grade, and she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from UGA. After homeschooling her four children through high school, she is happy to be in the classroom once again with a love and appreciation for the hearts and minds of her students. Her experience with Child Evangelism Fellowship has equipped her with her greatest passion – imparting the gospel of Jesus Christ to the next generation. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, biking, gardening, and leading after-school Bible clubs through the ministry of Good News Club. Mrs. Grable is grateful for the opportunity to work with the families and staff of KHCS.   

Stephanie Ayers

Stephanie Ayers - 2nd Grade Teacher

Stephanie Ayers grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia. She graduated from Valdosta State University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education and has over nineteen years of teaching experience in both public and private elementary schools. She and her husband, Dan, who is a physician assistant, have two adult daughters, Maddie and Caroline. When asked about what she would like for us to share with you about herself she said, “ I love teaching, I love Jesus, and I am excited to be at KHCS!

Melody Baker

5th Grade Teacher

Melody Baker - 5th Grade Teacher

Melody Baker was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and has lived in the area all of her life, except while attending college at Bob Jones University. She has taught both second and fifth grades and has over thirty years of teaching experience. She loves the educational process and seeing her students experience “aha” moments.  Melody and her husband, Mike, have two cats, Boo and Higgins. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and practicing calligraphy.


Akberet Andegiorgs

Extended Care & Teacher's Aid

Akberet Andegiorgs - Extended Care & Teacher's Aid

Akberet Andegiorgs is from Eritrea where she taught first grade for six years and also worked in a literacy program for adults. In 2010, she moved to the United States and has lived in Georgia since then. She married her husband, Binyam, in 2014, and they have three children together – two boys and a girl. When Akberet has free time, she enjoys shopping, going on walks with her children, and spending time with her family.
