Heather Prussia - 3rd Grade Teacher

Heather Prussia was born and raised in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She has been teaching for eight years. As a teacher, Mrs. Prussia loves to watch her students learn and master concepts and help them build confidence. She and her husband, Andy, have four children who are all students at KHCS. In her free time, she enjoys playing games, being outdoors, hiking, gardening, and eating chocolate.

Jill Parry

Jill Parry - Elementary Music & Secondary Band Teacher

Jill Parry was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended a Christian elementary and high school before earning an undergraduate degree in music education and a master’s degree in horn performance. Before coming to teach at KHCS, Ms. Parry taught in Indiana where she was also involved with the girls basketball and volleyball programs. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the KC Royals and KU Jayhawks, playing sports, and staying caffeinated.

Kimberly Griffin

6th Grade Teacher

Kimberly Griffin - 6th Grade Teacher

Kimberly Griffin was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education. Mrs. Griffin enjoys seeing the faces of her students when they grasp a new concept. She and her husband, Clifton, have a daughter who is currently a student at KHCS. In her free time, she loves to read and travel.

Julie Boley - Fourth Grade Teacher

 

Julie Boley grew up in Royersford, Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Science in music education, and has been teaching for over twenty years, more than a decade here at Killian Hill. While teaching science, Mrs. Boley has creative and engaging projects for her students to complete. She and her husband, Alan, have four adult children. During her free time, she enjoys playing the flute.

Marcia Rygh

Marcia Rygh - Paino and Flute Teacher

Marcia Rygh was born in Lebanon, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in piano performance from Bob Jones University. She has been teaching private piano and flute lessons for over thirty years. She and her husband, Steve, have four children – Kaitlyn, Collin, and Kristyn have all graduated from KHCS and Connor is currently a senior. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and coffee shops.

Carolyn Quillin

Carolyn Quillin - Librarian

Carolyn Quillin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. Mrs. Quillin has been teaching for over thirty-one years and has a cheerful manner with her students whether in the classroom or on the playground. She and her husband, Jim, have three children, Stephanie, Matt, and Drew. During her free time, she enjoys scrap-booking and gardening.

Patricia Waters was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education. Ms. Waters has been teaching at Killian Hill for over forty-six years and has taught hundreds of children to read. During her free time, she enjoys decorating and refinishing furniture.

Janice Crawford

Janice Crawford - Learning Discoveries Coordinator

Janice Crawford was born in Wisconsin but grew up in North Carolina. She has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Mrs. Crawford has been teaching for over thirty years – more than twenty of those at KHCS. She and her husband, Johnnie, have one son, Jason, who is a 2017 graduate of KHCS. During her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs.

 

Jeri Cordell

Jeri Cordell - Fourth Grade Teacher

Jeri Cordell was born in Marks, Mississippi, but grew up in Covington, Georgia. She obtained her master’s degree from Pensacola Christian College and has been teaching for over forty-four years. Ms. Cordell makes history come alive for her students and is an innovative teacher. She is always looking for creative ways to teach her students. During her free time, she enjoys gardening as well as reading.
