Our History

Killian Hill Christian School (KHCS) was established in 1972 as a ministry of Killian Hill Baptist Church in Lilburn, Georgia. Since its founding, KHCS has remained committed to partnering with families to provide a Christ-centered education grounded in biblical truth and academic excellence.

For more than five decades, KHCS has faithfully served students from preschool through 12th grade by focusing on its mission of “Training Scholars, Making Disciples, and Graduating Leaders.” The school was founded with the vision of equipping students academically, spiritually, and socially to impact the world for Christ.

Throughout its history, Killian Hill Christian School has grown into a respected college-preparatory institution known for strong academics, dedicated faculty, fine arts, athletics, and spiritual development. Generations of students have been shaped through a caring community where teachers invest deeply in both the educational and spiritual growth of each child.

Today, KHCS continues its legacy of excellence by maintaining a biblical worldview while preparing students to thrive in higher education, leadership, ministry, and service. As an accredited Christian school serving the greater Atlanta and Gwinnett County communities, KHCS remains dedicated to transforming lives for God’s glory through purposeful Christian education.
