Private Lessons

Private Instrumental & Voice Lessons

KHCS also offers private instruction in piano, voice, woodwind, brass, percussion, and string instruments to students in grades 1-12. Students are taught one-on-one during the school day (missing no academic instruction) or before or after school. Lessons consist of 30 or 45-minute segments once per week and are customized to the individual student’s abilities and needs. These private lessons are designed to enhance technical skills, artistic development, and overall musicianship. Students who take private lessons are given the opportunity to perform in festivals and assessments through the National Federation of Music Clubs and the National Piano Guild as well as competing in fine arts events through the Georgia Association of Christian Schools and at nationals through the American Association of Christian Schools. Students also have a variety of other outlets for performance including annual recitals, school concerts, chamber groups, and other ensembles.

We are now accepting re-enrollment and new enrollment applications for instrumental lessons for the 2023-24 school year. If you would like to register your child, please submit the Private Instrumental Lesson Registration Form.

  • Registration deadline is August 4, 2023.

A $75 non-refundable registration fee is required to enroll your student in the program. Please register early. The $75 registration fee will increase to $100 after July 21, 2023. The cost of lesson books and music book bag are included in the lesson fee.
