Loving and Safe Learning Environment

As of July 2019, Killian Hill Christian School became an ALICE certified organization. ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) provides multilayered instruction and planning for organizations to more proactively handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or active shooter. Under the direction of our campus security officer, Marc Gershman, our staff completes their own individual online training, and our entire team participates in ALICE certification drills. Our ALICE training and certification is just one of many steps that we take to improve and enhance our security plan. I am so thankful to the Lord that I can serve the students and the families here at Killian Hill Christian School. The safety and security of your children, our staff, faculty, and campus are my focus every day on the Hill. Each day the Lord provides wisdom, skill, and courage for me to perform this ministry, and He has given me a love for each of you and your children through the example and pattern of Christ’s love for us.  Please pray daily for this ministry and the safety and security of our school, for it is by His hand of grace and love that it is accomplished!
