New School Year: Let’s be Unified in Christ! – Pastor Kwame

New School Year: Let’s be Unified in Christ! – Pastor Kwame

It’s hard to believe that we’re already back and ready to begin a new school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer, and my prayer is that the Lord has given you peace as we embark on another journey here on the Hill. As you may know, our theme this year is Be Unified in Christ. In a world that seeks to divide, let every follower of Jesus remember that our differences no longer define us. Instead, we are defined by our new identity in Christ. We’ve died with Christ, we’ve been raised with Christ, and now we are hidden in Christ to live accordingly. We are a blessed people.

My prayer is that the Lord will bless this campus and every family represented here. As Romans 4:7 states, “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” May we be unified in daily receiving the grace and mercy that come from God, and may we bring Him glory in all we do.

As we train scholars, make disciples, and graduate leaders, my prayer is that all our pursuits—both on campus and off—will be equipped by the gospel and made effective through our unity in the gospel.

Love you all,

Pastor Kwame
