Patricia Waters - 1st Grade Teacher
Patricia Waters was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education. Ms. Waters has been teaching at Killian Hill for over forty years and has taught hundreds of children to read. During her free time, she enjoys decorating and refinishing furniture.
Michelle Veira - Lunchroom Supervisor
Michelle Veira grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Veira keeps the lunchroom running smoothly and many students say lunch is their favorite time of the school day. She and her husband, André, have two daughters, Samantha and Naomi. During her free time, she enjoys crafting.
Dan Totten - English Teacher
Dan Totten grew up in West Virgina. He holds several degrees, including a bachelor’s in education and a Master’s of Divinity. He has been teaching for over thirty-five years and is currently in his twenty-third year at KHCS. Mr. Totten has a legacy of high academic excellence and spiritual investment in his students. Often his classroom is the first stop for returning alumni. During his free time, he enjoys reading and hiking.
Robert Sherman - Bible Teacher
Robert Sherman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (and yes he is still a die hard Steelers fan!). He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, while finishing his master’s in biblical studies. Mr. Sherman has been teaching for nineteen years, all of which have been at Killian Hill. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Benjamin and Hannah. During his downtime, he enjoys working on model trains, golfing, and cheering on the Steelers!
Paino and Flute Teacher
Marcia Rygh - Paino and Flute Teacher
Marcia Rygh was born in Lebanon, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in piano performance from Bob Jones University. She has been teaching private piano and flute lessons for over thirty years. She and her husband, Steve, have four children – Kaitlyn, Collin, and Kristyn have all graduated from KHCS and Connor is currently a senior. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and coffee shops.
Luis Roca - Maintenance
Luis Roca was born near Lima, Peru. He moved to the United States when he was eight years old, and he grew up near Los Angeles, California. As a member of our maintenance team, Mr. Roca is often seen around campus keeping the grounds looking nice, repairing anything that is broken, and lending a hand to anyone who needs help. He and his wife, Christine, have five children, Christina, Adriana, Andrew, Stephen, and Haley.

Zuly Rabelo - Business Office Secretary
Zuly Rabelo was born in Mexico. She is always ready to help parents with various questions in the business office as well as take stunning pictures of our students and events around campus. During her free time from school, she enjoys capturing special moments for others with her camera. She has three children, Richard, Abigail and Samantha.
Carolyn Quillin - K4 Assistant
Carolyn Quillin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. Mrs. Quillin has been teaching for over thirty years and has a cheerful manner with her students whether in the classroom or on the playground. She and her husband, Jim, have three children, Stephanie, Matt, and Drew. During her free time, she enjoys scrap-booking and gardening.
3rd Grade Teacher
Heather Prussia - 3rd Grade Teacher
Heather Prussia was born and raised in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She has been teaching for five years. As a teacher, Mrs. Prussia loves to watch her students learn and master concepts and help them build confidence. She and her husband, Andy, have four children who are all students at KHCS. In her free time, she enjoys playing games, being outdoors, hiking, gardening, and eating chocolate.
Kerry Provost - Art Teacher
Kerry Provost grew up in Southern California and moved to Atlanta after getting married in January 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Master’s University. She teaches art to all elementary classes as well as teaches an art elective to both our junior and senior high students. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and going on new adventures with her husband.
