Anca Cocian - Bookends
Anca Cocian was born in Romania. She is currently in her second year as our Bookends supervisor. She ensures the students complete their homework, as well as enjoy a snack and some fun times in the after-care program. She and her husband, Cristian, have two children, Gabriella and Christine. During her free time, she enjoys challenging her crafty side to see what she can create.
Greg Habegger - Choir Director
Greg Habegger was born in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Bob Jones University where he completed both his bachelor’s as well as his master’s degrees. He has been teaching music for over ten years and is currently in his third year at Killian Hill. Greg and his wife, Katie, have one daugther, Anna, who is in her senior year at KHCS. During his free time he enjoys traveling as well as watching sports.

Matt Lewis - Guidance Counselor
Matt Lewis was born in Missouri. His holds a bachelor’s degree in math education and a Master of Science degree in secondary education. He has been teaching for fourteen years. Mr. Lewis is currently the head of the math department, the guidance counselor, and one of our math teachers. Not only is he passionate about teaching math and preparing students for math competitions, he also enjoys playing his guitar in chapel. He and his wife, Megan, have three little ones. Eden, Cade, and Arabelle. During his free time he enjoys reading, yard work and math.
Janeen Dawson - Librarian
Janeen Dawson was born in Atwater, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in physical education. She has taught for twenty nine years, twenty two at KHCS! She is always at work updating the books in the library, and making the library one of our students’ favorite places. She and her husband, Doug, have three children, Jared, Jonna and Jake. During her free time she enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, hiking and reading.

Doug Dawson - Secondary School Principal
Doug Dawson grew up in eastern North Carolina. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership. He has been teaching for thirty-five years, twenty-six of which have been at KHCS. Mr. Dawson’s office (and his chocolate jar!) is always open to those who come to campus. He and his wife, Janeen, have three children: Jared, Jonna, and Jake. During this free time, he enjoys mountain biking and kayaking with his family.
Dan Totten - English Teacher
Dan Totten grew up in West Virgina. He holds several degrees, including a bachelor’s in education and a Master’s of Divinity. He has been teaching for over thirty-five years and is currently in his twenty-third year at KHCS. Mr. Totten has a legacy of high academic excellence and spiritual investment in his students. Often his classroom is the first stop for returning alumni. During his free time, he enjoys reading and hiking.
Robert Sherman - Bible Teacher
Robert Sherman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (and yes he is still a die hard Steelers fan!). He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, while finishing his master’s in biblical studies. Mr. Sherman has been teaching for nineteen years, all of which have been at Killian Hill. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Benjamin and Hannah. During his downtime, he enjoys working on model trains, golfing, and cheering on the Steelers!
Rosalie Parks - Math Teacher
Rosalie Parks was born to a missionary family in Argentina. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She has been teaching for over forty years, with over thirty years of that at Killian Hill. Mrs. Parks is often found helping students work through various math problems they are working on. She and her husband, Danny, have three children, Ben, Jacob, and Jackie. During her downtime, she enjoys reading, golfing, and cooking.
Wendy Monroe - History Teacher
Wendy Monroe was born in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. Mrs. Monroe is an alumnus of KHCS and has served as a member of the faculty and staff here for over ten years.She has traveled extensively and weaves her experiences into her history lessons. She and her husband, David, have two children, Gwyna and Colin. During her free time, she enjoys scrap-booking and photography.
