Marcia Rygh - Paino and Flute Teacher
Marcia Rygh was born in Lebanon, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in piano performance from Bob Jones University. She has been teaching private piano and flute lessons for over thirty years. She and her husband, Steve, have four children – Kaitlyn, Collin, and Kristyn, and Connor who are all KHCS graduates. In her free time, Marcia enjoys reading and coffee shops.

Dr. Matt Lewis - Guidance Counselor
Matt Lewis was born in Missouri and has a bachelor’s degree in math education, a Master of Science degree in secondary education, and a doctorate degree in education. He has been teaching over fifteen years and is currently the head of the KHCS math department, the guidance counselor, and one of our excellent math teachers. Not only is he passionate about teaching math and preparing students for math competitions, he also enjoys playing his guitar in chapel. He and his wife, Megan, have three children enrolled at KHCS. During his free time Dr. Lewis enjoys reading, yard work, and math.
Robert Sherman

Robert Sherman - Secondary Bible Teacher
Robert Sherman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (and yes he is still a die hard Steelers fan!). He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. Mr. Sherman has been teaching for over twenty-five years, all of which have been at KHCS. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Benjamin and Hannah. During his downtime, he enjoys working on model trains, golfing, and cheering on the Steelers!

Wendy Monroe - Secondary History Teacher
Wendy Monroe was born in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She is an alumnus of KHCS and has served as a faculty and staff member here for over seventeen years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and a Master of Arts in History, and is currently completing her PhD with a focus on historiography. She and her husband, David, have two children, Gwyna and Colin. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with her family.

Janice Crawford - Learning Discoveries Coordinator
Janice Crawford was born in Wisconsin but grew up in North Carolina. She has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Mrs. Crawford has been teaching for over thirty years – more than twenty of those at KHCS. She and her husband, Johnnie, have one son, Jason, who is a 2017 graduate of KHCS. During her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs.
