Jeri Cordell

Jeri Cordell - Fourth Grade Teacher

Jeri Cordell was born in Marks, Mississippi, but grew up in Covington, Georgia. She obtained her master’s degree from Pensacola Christian College and has been teaching for over forty-four years. Ms. Cordell makes history come alive for her students and is an innovative teacher. She is always looking for creative ways to teach her students. During her free time, she enjoys gardening as well as reading.

Janice Crawford - Learning Discoveries Coordinator

Janice Crawford was born in Wisconsin but grew up in North Carolina. She has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Mrs. Crawford has been teaching for over thirty years – more than twenty of those at KHCS. She and her husband, Johnnie, have one son, Jason, who is a 2017 graduate of KHCS. During her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs.

 

Mark Cronemeyer

Head of School

Mark Cronemeyer - Head of School

For thirty-two years, Dr. Mark Cronemeyer has served in the role of Head of School in several Christian schools located in Savannah, Georgia; Warwick, Rhode Island; West Hartford, Connecticut; Hampton, Georgia; and KHCS in Lilburn, Georgia. He has earned two masters degrees and a doctorate in education and is passionate about the benefit of serving the educational needs of  families from the perspective of a thoroughly biblical worldview. He enjoys his three children, Kristin, Karissa, and Mark, Jr. and seven grandchildren. Playing, watching, and coaching soccer has been a big part of his life, but as much as he enjoys that, watching God work in the lives of his grandchildren and school family is undoubtedly his greatest joy.


Teri Cronemeyer

Teri Cronemeyer - Administrative Assistant

Teri Cronemeyer, the middle child of five siblings, grew up on the east coast of Florida. Her father led her to Christ at the age of 6, and although she did not have the privilege of attending a Christian school in grade school, she later attended Bob Jones University where she earned her degree in early childhood education. It was there that she met and married her husband, Dr. Mark Cronemeyer. They have two daughters, a son, and seven beautiful grandchildren. In her free time, she loves to get together with family, her precious grandchildren, her Ragdoll cat, Shelby, and her dog, Sophie.

Jennifer Efting

Jennifer Efting - Violin Lessons Teacher

Jennifer Efting was raised in Roswell, GA. In December 2022 she obtained a Bachelor Of Science degree in Music from Bob Jones University. At Bob Jones, she studied private piano under Dr. Lori Turcios. For the past 5 years she has received private tutoring from a Curtis graduate and former member of ASO (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra) focused on learning violin, how to teach, and how to practice. Jennifer believes that learning an instrument is a wonderful way to learn critical thinking, time management, discipline, patience, and musicality. It is also a wonderful way to reflect God’s beauty with the gifts He has given us. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and practicing piano and violin.

Kristie Grable

Third Grade Teacher

Kristie Grable - Third Grade Teacher

Kristie Grableearned her degree in Early Childhood Education from UGA. After homeschooling her four children through high school, she is happy to be in the classroom once again with a love and appreciation for the hearts and minds of her students. Her experience with Child Evangelism Fellowship has equipped her with her greatest passion – imparting the gospel of Jesus Christ to the next generation. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, biking, gardening, and leading after-school Bible clubs through the ministry of Good News Club. Mrs. Grable is grateful for the opportunity to work with the families and staff of KHCS.   


Kimberly Griffin

Sixth Grade Teacher

Kimberly Griffin - Sixth Grade Teacher

Kimberly Griffin was born and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education. Mrs. Griffin enjoys seeing the faces of her students when they grasp a new concept. She and her husband, Clifton, have a daughter who is currently a student at KHCS. In her free time, she loves to read and travel.

 

Katy Hansen

K5 Kindergarten Teacher

Katy Hansen - K5 Kindergarten Teacher

Katy Hansen was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia for early childhood education and has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in human resource management from American Intercontinental University. She worked twenty-five years in the financial services industry. She and her husband, John, have a son, Ben, who attends KHCS. She has two dogs and several chickens and enjoys being outside. Mrs. Hansen spends her free time doing youth group activities and events at church. 

Sarah Hayhurst

Secondary English Teacher

Sarah Hayhurst - Secondary English Teacher

Sarah Hayhurst grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin. She earned her BA degree in communication arts and her MEd degree in teaching and learning. This is Mrs. Hayhurst’s seventh year teaching at KHCS. She is passionate about her students becoming excellent communicators through language arts. She has three children and enjoys hiking, biking, volleyball, and piano.


Patty Hilliard

Admissions Assistant

Patty Hilliard - Admissions Assistant

Patty Hilliard was born in Gary, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Mrs. Hilliard has spent half of her working career in the insurance industry and the other half in full-time ministry in the areas of administration and human resources. Patty enjoys shopping, traveling, cheering on the Michigan teams, and spending time with her husband, Doug, and her cat Gus.
