Melody Lu - Secondary Math

Melody Lu was born and grew up in China. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Education from Bob Jones University. Ms. Lu is passionate about bringing students to explore God-created beauty in Math and Science. She has an artsy family and a younger sister who is especially talented in arts and design. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and talking with friends.

Joseph Lucius - Facilities Director

Joseph is a Georgia native and attended KHCS for kindergarten through third grade and then homeschooled through graduation. He is a long-time KHBC member and is experienced in construction, renovation, landscaping, tree removal, and project management. Joseph and his wife, Kristen, have four beautiful daughters. He has a heart for child evangelism – working with children in Sunday school, AWANA, and VBS/Soccer Camps. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and just generally being outdoors

Wendy Monroe

Wendy Monroe - Secondary History Teacher

Wendy Monroe was born in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She is an alumnus of KHCS and has served as a faculty and staff member here for over seventeen years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and a Master of Arts in History, and is currently completing her PhD with a focus on historiography. She and her husband, David, have two children, Gwyna and Colin. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with her family.


Sarah Munne

Sarah Munne - Fine Arts Director, Secondary English & Speech Teacher

Sarah Munne was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree in speech education. In addition to teaching English, she also coaches students for fine arts competitions. Mrs. Munne enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and two sweet daughters, Jane and Gwen. She enjoys watching The Great British Baking Show, reading classic literature, and coloring with her toddlers.

Holly Novak

Holly Novak - Secondary School Principal

Holly Novak grew up in Kenya, East Africa, before coming to the states and graduating in 2002 with a degree in secondary education in history and linguistics. After graduation, she spent twenty-two years at Harvest Christian Academy in Guam teaching history and physical education classes as well as coaching basketball and soccer. Most recently, Ms. Novak has filled the role of the Dean of Education for Harvest Baptist Bible College in Guam. She has earned a masters degree in education and is currently pursuing a doctorate of education degree in instructional leadership. Ms. Novak loves to spend time with friends and family and of course, her dog, Kip!

Pyeongkang Park

Pyeongkang Park - Choir/Band/Music Director

Dr. Pyeongkang Park is a Christian musician fueled by a heartfelt passion for Christian music and education, inspiring students to praise God through music and become musical leaders within their churches and communities.
As the founder and music director of the Lawrenceville Symphony Orchestra (LSO), Pyeongkang has actively shared his talents through various impactful concerts since 2018, including the 20th Anniversary 9/11 Tribute Concert and the 500th Anniversary Reformation Celebration Concert in Atlanta, among many others.
His journey includes serving as assistant conductor for the 17th Pacific Region International Summer Music Association Festival (PRISMA) and the Hilex! New Music Ensemble, along with being a fellow conductor at the 35th Pierrot Chamber Music Festival, where he earned the ‘Conducting Award’ and a full scholarship as awarded by Kenneth Kiesler for the 20th Conductors Retreat at Medomak. From 2017 to 2020, Pyeongkang also inspired listeners as a classical radio host for Atlanta Radio Korea (AM790).
Hailing from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Park has garnered numerous accolades, such as the American Prize in the College/University Division as the 2nd winner and Semi-Finalist in the Ernst Bacon Memorial Award for American Music, the 17th International Conducting Workshop and Competition, the Claassen and Strobel Orchestra
Dr. Park holds a Master of Music (MM) and an Artist Certificate in Orchestral Conducting from Georgia State University, along with a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Georgia on a full scholarship. He passionately serves as the music director for both the instrumental and choir areas at KHCS, where he also teaches AP Music Theory.

Seth Peterson

Seth Peterson - Middle School & High School Choir Teacher

Seth Peterson is a native of Wisconsin, but moved to Georgia to be a part of the Killian Hill Ministries team. He completed an undergraduate degree in music education from Northland International University and has also completed a masters degree in church music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As a composer, teacher, and church musician his goal is to channel his God-given creativity in a way that leads people to Christ and engages them to worship Him as well as bringing them into a community of people that love God and His Word.

Deanna Peterson

Elementary Music/Voice/Piano Teacher

Deanna Peterson - Elementary Music/Voice/Piano Teacher

Deanna Peterson grew up in Alberta, Canada, but has lived in the States since 2015. At the age of seven she began taking piano lessons and took private voice lessons in high school. Mrs. Peterson has a bachelor’s degree in voice pedagogy and a master’s in voice performance. She has taught private lessons since 2011 and has worked with singers and pianists from seven years to over sixty years of age. She loves teaching one one-on-one and developing the individual talents and techniques of her students. Mrs. Peterson and her husband, Seth, have three children who are students at KHCS. In her free time, she loves exploring new places, riding bikes, camping, and playing board games with her family.

Bené Pritchard

Bené Pritchard - First Grade Teacher

Bené Pritchard grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from Georgia State University. She has worked in Christian and public school classrooms for over 15 years combined. She and her husband, Steve, have two sons, Oran and Colton who attend KHCS. Mrs. Pritchard loves music, gardening, going to coffee houses, and spending time with her family.  


Heather Prussia

Heather Prussia - Third Grade Teacher

Heather Prussia was born and grew up in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She has been teaching for over ten years. As a teacher, Mrs. Prussia loves to watch her students learn and master concepts and help them build confidence. She and her husband, Andy, have four children who are all students at KHCS. In her free time, she enjoys playing games, being outdoors, hiking, gardening, and eating chocolate.
